Kinetika Bloco, founded in 2000, is a youth music charity that empowers young people from South London through inclusive creative activities in music and dance. They provide a safe, inspiring space where youth aged 8-25 can grow, connect, and realise their potential.
Through workshops, after-school clubs, leadership programs, and performances, they offer a vibrant and inclusive pathway for young people to learn, express themselves, and explore the Creative Industries.
A unique strength of Kinetika Bloco is their community—75% of their Leadership Team are alumni who return to mentor the next generation. This ongoing cycle of giving back highlights the deep impact Kinetika Bloco has on its members and showcases the power of unity.
Seventh has teamed up with Kickback to produce an editorial short film blending fashion, music, and community impact. The film spotlights Kinetika Bloco, a youth music charity, featuring Bukki, founder of a luxury international brand; Seventh, and Sheila from the globally acclaimed Kokoroko, both of whom credit Kinetika Bloco for shaping their artistic journeys. Through this collaboration, we aim to showcase the transformative power of creative communities.
In honor of the film, which digitally captures Kinetika Bloco's impact, we’re seeking a sponsor to help us create a fundraising concert—a live, immersive celebration of the charity’s 20 years of transformative work in the community.
