General Guidelines
Seventh’s styles are intentionally designed for an oversized fit — it’s normal if your body measurements differ from the garment measurements.
Wear light garments such as a vest or thin T-shirt, and tight-fitting trousers or underwear when measuring.
For bottoms, ensure your waist measurement is close to your true waist.
Measurement Instructions

Shoulder Width
Stand upright with shoulders relaxed. Place the measuring tape from the edge of one shoulder bone (where the arm begins) straight across to the same point on the opposite shoulder. Keep the tape flat but not tight.
Chest Circumference
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, just under your armpits. Ensure the tape is parallel to the floor and flat. Take a breath in, then measure while exhaling naturally.
Waist Circumference
For mid-rise garments, measure your natural waist, roughly 3–4 cm below your belly button. Wrap the tape around this point snugly but not tightly. Stand relaxed — do not suck in your stomach.
Note:
For high-rise garments, measure at belly-button level.
For low-rise garments, measure between your natural waist and hip.
Hip Circumference
Stand with your feet together. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks (usually about 18–23 cm / 7–9 in below the waist). Keep the tape level and straight all the way around.
Tip: Hip measurements are crucial for pants and fitted garments.
Thigh Circumference
Stand with your legs slightly apart. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of one thigh, just below the groin. Keep the tape light against the skin — not tight.
Tip: Measure both thighs if they differ and record the larger number.
Inseam
Measure from the top of your inner thigh (crotch seam) down to your ankle bone or your desired pant length. Alternatively, measure a pair of pants that fit perfectly, from crotch seam to hem.
Tip: Inseam can vary depending on rise length — if you normally wear a 32" inseam, it might be ±2" depending on how low or high the crotch sits.
